Get the most out of your flowers

• Remove any dead or dying leaves or flower heads
• Keep out of direct sunlight
• Keep out of draughts
• Keep leaves out of water
• Keep away from heat sources
• Recut stems at 45 degree angle every 2 days
• Replace water with fresh water every 2 days

Plant Life

Each pot plant has very individual needs. They must have correct light, heat, humidity, water, food and soil. I’d suggest a little research before decided which plants are best for you.

Eco Warriors

At Ella’s Flower Shop we strive to be as eco conscious as possible. All our green waste goes to a local composting site. We are heavy on reducing reusing and recycling. We reuse the flower water to water the plants, in order to reduce the amount we use. We offer older flower, that won’t last past our week of freshness guarantee, at lower prices so it can still be sold and enjoyed.

If you’d like to hear more about how to get your hands on these special offers, please sign up to the mailing list. Any flowers that aren’t sold get pressed and dried for floral art and shop decoration. All our flowers are fair trade. We buy local grown flowers at every given opportunity. This reduces the miles travelled for our stock. All the cellophane is biodegradable and we cut out single use plastic where possible.
